About Us!
Welcome.
As you browse our website, I hope that you have your speakers on,so you can enjoy this beautiful melody, "Come back
to Sorrento", with a picture of my hometown in the background of our Home page.
I was born and raised in
Sorrento, one of the most beautiful places in the
world. I lived there from 1939 until 1975,where I was a professional Tour Guide (I can speak
read and write in 6 different languages.) During my career as Tour Guide, I had the great honor of guiding thousands
of different tourists (mainly Americans), to visit the most beautiful historical and panoramic sites of my country.
In 1967 I met Joyce and 3 months later we got married. We lived in Sorrento and
Rome, and occasionaly we came to America for short periods.
During this time, in 1969 my son Marco was born, and later in 1974, my daughter
Natasha, while living in Rome. She completed our family.
In 1976 we moved permanently to California and I immediately started to import Gift and Home Decor Accessories, and
distribute them all over the USA. For this, I based my taste
on the experience I had accumulated during my Tour Guiding years in Italy, by knowing
what the American taste was.
Today, 30 years later, at 68 years old,I am still enjoying doing it. I am a very proud grandpa of my grandaughter
Olivia (Marco & Laurie's daughter) my grandson Jonah (Natasha & Matt's son) and my grandson Nico (Marco & Laurie's son).
In Italy we say when you take Social Security
and become a grandpa, you have accomplished everything a good life can offer. I am happy to say that I accomplished
both goals. Praise God!!!
